As well as providing plenty of opportunity for nights out (particularly in the Foundry), a wide range of other events are held throughout the year at the SU's various venues.
SU events can be a good opportunity to meet other students, and sometimes computer science related societies hold events in pertnership with the SU such as film viewings. Trips to nearby places such as York are also sometimes organised.
